1891 West Side School

The 1891 school was a beautiful, commanding structure built in the Gothic style of architecture. When moving from the 1858 school, I'm sure that the pupils were awe-struck by the mere size of the building in comparison to the eight room school they had just left. The South Side school building was very similar in architecture. The photographs below are all from postcards with the exception of the first one.
