GIBSON TOWNSHIP

In June 1836, Township 15 and the north tier of sections of Township 14 were taken from Jackson and called Gibson Township.

MONROE TOWNSHIP

Was erected in June 1836, being taken from the east end of Twin Township, and contained all of Township 7 North, Range 3 East.
