T. B. PAGE AND MARY A. TO MARY MITCHELL, 3 June 1868, Darke Co., OH Book 51, p 451 Know all men by these presents that we T B Page and Mary A Page wife of T. B. Page in consideration of this two hundred dollars to us paid by Mary Mitchell the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby Grant Bargain Sell and convey to the said Mary Mitchell her heirs and assigns forever, the following Lot number one hundred and ninety seven of Morgans addition to the Town of Union City in the County of Dark State of Ohio and all the estate, Title and Interest of the said T B Page & Mary A Page sister in law on in Equity of in and to the said premises; Together with all the privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging all the rents issues and profits thereof To have and to hold the same to the only proper use of the said Mary Mitchell her heirs and assigns forever and the said T. B. Page and Mary A Page for themselves and for their heirs, executors and administrators do hereby covenant with the said Mary Mitchell her heirs and assigns that they are the true and lawful owne rs of the said premises and have full power to convey the same and that the Title so conveyed is clear, free and unencumbered; and further that they will Warrant and Defend the same against all claims or claims of all persons whomsoever . In Witness Where of the said T. B. Page and Mary A Page hereby release their right and expectancy of Dower in the said premises have hereunto set their hands and seals the third day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and sixty eight. Page The State of Ohio County of Darke Be it remembered that on this third day of June in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and Sixty Eight before me Jacob Livinggood, a Justice of the peace personally came T. B. Page and M. A. Page the grantors in the foregoing deed and acknowledged the signing and sealing thereof to be their voluntary act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. And the said wife M..A. Page of the said T. B. Page being examined by me separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of said Deed being by me made known and explained to her as the Statute Directs declared that she did voluntarily sign seal and acknowledge the same and that she is still satisfied therewith as her act and deed for the uses and purposes herein mentioned.
