MARCELLIUS B DICKEY AND MARY G TO THOMAS B PAGE, 29 March 1857, DARKE CO, OH. Book H2 page 324. Know all men by these to present that Marcellius B. Dickey and Mary G. Dickey wife of the said the ..... B Dickey of Union City, Ohio in consideration of two hundred dollars in hand to them paid by to Thomas B Page the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby bargain sell and convey to the said Thomas B. Page and to his heirs and assigns forever the following with real estate viz in Union City Ohio lot one hundred and ninety seven as designated known and numbered on the plat in Morgan's addition in the town of Union City Darke county Ohio Together with it all the privileges and appurtenances. to the same belonging. To have and to hold the same to the only proper use of to said Thomas B Page and to his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Marcellius B. Dickey and Mary E. Dickey his wife for themselves and heirs executers and administrators do hereby covenant with the said Thomas B Page his heirs and assigns that they are the true and lawful owner of the said premises and have full power to convey the same and that the title so conveyed is clear free and unencumbered and further that they will warrant and defend the same against all claims or cl aims of all persons whatsoever. In witness whereof the said Marcellius B Dickey together with Mary G Dickey wife of the said Marcellius B Dickey who hereby release his right and expectancy of dower in the said premises hath hereunto set their hands and seals on this twenty ninth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty eight. Witnessed by Mary Jane Conway and Daniel French. Signed by Marcellius B Dickey and Mary G Dickey Be it Remembered that on these twenty ninth day of March in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty eight before me the subscriber a justice of the Peace in and for said county personally came the above named Marcellius B Dickey and Mary G Dickey wife of the said Marcellius B Dickey the grantors in the above conveyed and acknowledged the same to be their voluntary act and deed, for the uses and purposes herein mentioned. And the said Mary G Dickey wife of the said Marcellius B Dickey being examined by me separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of said deed being by me made known and explained to her as the statute directs, declare that she did voluntarily sign seal and acknowledge the same and that she is still satisfied therewith as her act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned.
