Roger Spencer, along with Rebecca Houdeshell Stephens, has published several photographic cemetery readings of cemeteries in Darke County, Ohio, the home of many of their ancestors. This is his first photographic reading of an Indiana cemetery. For this book, he teamed with Roberta L. Moore, current Deer Creek Township Trustee.
It contains 239 pages, over 900 photographs of tombstones found in the cemeteries listed in the title along with typed inscriptions of the stones. The book is fully indexed and was published in 2004. Many of these stones are in bad shape from weather, broken and several of these cemeteries are no longer active.
